FireWatch Weavers

Updated 1/14/2008 - Classes Resume January 16, 2008
WHAT'S NEW

The Joy is in the Making...

The softness of fleece. The sheen of cottons. The rich, luscious colors of Harrisville wools. Working with fiber is an experience that nourishes all the senses and awakens the spark of creativity. Color...texture...shape and form...beauty, brought to life.

FireWatch Weavers offers classes in traditional floor loom weaving, in spinning with the treadle wheel, the Great Wheel, the Indian charkha and the drop spindle, and in Navajo, Andean, and Central Asian weaving. We also offer books and equipment for the weaver and spinner, featuring Harrisville, Schacht, and Leclerc, and can provide informaton and assistance in constructing Navajo or Central Asian style rug looms. Whether your interest lies in the highly technical or in indigenous forms of the craft, we have tools and instructors for you.
